Quick little how-to!

You’ll need: 3 polishes, top/base coat, tape (if you’d like)

1. Apply a base coat of your choice. Let this dry completely!

2. Pick 3 different nail colors (we chose purple, fuchsia, and seafoam green)! You’ll also need a white polish.

3. Paint each nail a different color-again, let this dry completely before moving on to the next step.

4. Here’s where it can get a little tricky-you can either freehand this part, or use tape. If you want to use tape, just place a piece diagonally on your nail and paint only the exposed parts (be careful to make sure the tape completely on your nail, otherwise the line won’t be clean)! Repeat on the other side to create the design on the thumb.

5. Completely optional, but we decided it’d be fun to add some polkadots! We freehanded it in this case (by just dotting directly from the bottle), but if you want to know how to dot with a bobby pin, you can check out our DIY post here!

6. Finish with a top coat, and you’re ready to show off your LBB inspired nails ;)

Bright nails are an effortless way to add a pop of color to any outfit! This look is simple yet fun—and you don’t need any special tools! Join us in this do-it-yourself nail tutorial inspired by the Freestyle Adrenaline Watch from Little Black Bag to create a fun wearable look.

You’ll only need three items to complete this look. First, take your favorite hot pink polish (we’re using Michael Marcus’ Paradise Pink and ncLA’s Downtown Dollface from Littleblackbag.com for the dots). Apply a basecoat of your choice, then apply a coat of hot pink polish. Let this coat dry completely before you start the next step!

Now for the fun part:

Take the bobby pin and start dotting! You can either take the bobby pin and dip it into the bottle, or pour a few drops of polish out. Take the bobby pin and start putting dots on your nails—it’s up to you how many or how little you put. You can also change it up by making dots of different sizes!

Annnd here’s the finished look:

Easy, huh? Of course you can use any combination of colors you’d like, but since these were inspired by the Freestyle Adrenaline Watch, we went with hot pink and white. Don’t forget to post on our Facebook page if you try these out!
