Both the Little Black Bag and Pose websites will be temporarily down on Monday morning as we prepare the new experience for you. Unfortunately, we can’t say for certain when it will be back up on Monday but we’ll keep the site outage as brief as possible.

What you need to know
Open Bags
All items will automatically be transferred over when the new Pose launches. Your items will still show up with your bags with all current trade offers still available. If you currently have a bag open, there is nothing that you need to do! Because of the brief site outage that will happen on May 5th, all bags opened during the transition will be given 48 more hours of trading time.

Customer Service
Our Customer Service is experiencing a larger than normal amount of emails at the moment. Because of the high volume, we will be operating on limited phone support to help direct efforts toward answering emails.

Emails
Starting on May 5, all email communications will be sent from a Pose email address. Don’t be alarmed! The emails will have a wonderful mix of Shopping and Inspiration content that’ll keep you up to date on the hottest items on the Marketplace and the latest trends.

Chat
We know many of you have enjoyed the chat feature currently on Little Black Bag, but in order to make the Marketplace a seamless user experience, chat will not carry over at the launch of Pose. Rest assured that you will still be able to communicate with other members on the site via commenting on product listing and poses. We are still experiencing higher than normal email volumes and are truly are sorry for the delay in responses. This in no way reflects the kind of service we want to provide you and it is not the kind of service we know you are used to. Things should begin to return to normal very soon; while we are getting there, I’ve provided a few helpful tips for contacting Customer Service.
In order to process tickets in the order that they are received we kindly ask that you allow us to respond to your ticket before sending a follow up. This is important because sending a follow up email on the same thread will update your request and put it at the back of the line. Please allow at least 3 business days before sending an update on a request that an agent has not replied to.
Further, in order to answer email inquiries more quickly, we will be operating on limited phone hours. The new Customer Service phone hours are 8am-12pm PDT.
If you are waiting for a response regarding a backorder, please know that we have received your email and will address this with you. We are aware that inventory is extremely limited. In order for you to be able to select your replacement items at the first available opportunity we will be opening an exchange gallery that has an increased add to bag value. This will allow you to select items without having to browse the gallery and wait for a response. Remember, all items purchase on or after April 17th are final sale only and are not eligible for return or exchange unless damaged or defective.
If you have reported an item as damaged of defective please make sure you include photos of the item and an exchange gallery will be opened for you on the spot once a team member reviews and assesses the damage/defect.
If an item you ordered was missing from your order please be sure to include the item as well as the order number in your email. You can locate your order number in the Order History section of the dropdown menu under your avatar. An agent will then review the order to see if the item was shipped separately or not. If your item is indeed missing from your order, every effort will be made to locate it and, if possible, shipped to you.
If you are requesting an update on a pending return please note that returns are typically processed within 5 business days of confirmed receipt in the warehouse. If your package has been returned and has not been processed within 5 business days please contact us with your return tracking information as well as the order numbers for your returned package and an agent will assist you.
If you are waiting on an exchange to be processed it will be done so as soon as possible.
If you are waiting on confirmation of your VIP membership being cancelled please note that as of May1st VIP is being discontinued and you will not be charged. Again we apologize for the inconvenience and ask for your continued patience and support.

There are some big changes coming to Little Black Bag. As valued members of our community, we want you to be aware of all the updates beforehand. 

As many of you know, following our merger with the fashion app Pose, we have been hard at work on a new update to our experience. Our goal? To bring the best elements from Pose’s content platform together with Little Black Bag’s social shopping experience to create a Marketplace for shopping and trading with others! We’re close to launching our new experience, which will be called Pose (read more on how we chose the name here), and as part of the launch, we’ll be making changes to how our sites currently work.

When Pose launches as a marketplace, it means everyone can be a buyer, seller or trader. Not only can you trade the Betsey Johnson bags that you’ve previously bought on LBB, you can also sell and swap anything from your closet! As part of this, we will be making changes to how shipping and gifting currently work. Here’s an outline of exactly what is changing, why it is changing, and how it will affect you:

Thursday, April 17th
All Items Are Final Sale
Beginning on Thursday, all items on Little Black Bag will be final sale only. Because shopping and trading directly with other members in the community is the focus of the Marketplace, we are discontinuing our partnership with our warehouse and taking matters into our own hands! We will no longer be buying inventory and shipping from the warehouse. While we have learned a lot from working with the warehouse, we feel that without it we’ll be able to deliver a better shopping experience to our customers.

So, what does final sale entail? All merchandise purchased on April 17th or later will not be eligible for exchange or returns unless damaged or defective. This includes both new openings and Add to Bag purchases. Any items purchased before this date are still eligible for our regular exchange and return policy. Any merchandise purchased after April 17th that arrives damaged or defective will continue to be covered by our Happiness Guarantee and you can reach out to Customer Service should you experience a problem with your item.

Sunday, May 4th
Gifting Ends
Gifting items will no longer be a primary feature of the new experience. On Sunday, May 4th, both gifting an item to another account, as well as purchasing gift cards, will be turned off.

What does this mean for you? On May 4th, all outstanding gift items will automatically be shipped to the sender’s address on file. If you currently have outstanding gift items you have yet to redeem, you must either ship them to yourself or trade them to create your perfect Little Black Bag.

Return Policy Changes
As mentioned above, we are moving everything to Final Sale. For all items purchased on or before April 16th, we will continue to honor our 30 day return policy. The last day the warehouse will be accepting returns is May 30. In order for the warehouse to properly receive and record the return, we strongly recommend that you ship your item to the warehouse no later than May 15th.

Exchanges Become Credits
Beginning on May 4th, if you have outstanding exchange items, these items will be converted into credit that will be added to your account on Pose.

Referral Credit
If you currently have outstanding merchandise referral credit, this will be converted into $10 credit for each individual friend that purchased after you invited them. This $10 credit will be in place of the extra $50 item added to your open bag. You will be able to redeem all available referral credits on the same purchase.

Coupon Codes
All coupons will no longer be usable. If you currently have a coupon you must use it before May 4.

Cancellations
We understand that situations may arise in which bag cancellations will be requested. Cancellation requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please note, if an item in your bag has been traded for, we will not be able to cancel your bag. Bags opened during a promotion or sale are not able to be cancelled while the promotion or sale is active. Please send cancellation requests to support@littleblackabag.com for review.

What exactly are Marketplace items? Merchandise listed on the site will be made up of products uploaded by individual members of Pose’s trusted community. These items will include new and/or pre-owned products that come directly from the closets of shoppers just like you. And, they’ll not only include designer handbags, shoes, accessories, but fashion apparel galore!

Perhaps the most exciting part of the Marketplace is the ability to trade items with other members (just like you currently do on Little Black Bag!). List an item in your own closet and trade for something you love in someone else’s. Upgrade your look and have a blast doing it.

The New Little Black Bag
Several months ago we announced that Little Black Bag and Pose would be merging to create an online shopping experience unlike anything else. Our team has been working hard to build this exciting new product and we’re delighted to share that the launch is happening soon. We think you’re going to love it!

First, let us assure you that maintaining the fun and excitement of shopping and trading is still the core mission of our company as this is what makes our community so special. We will never stray from the thrill of the trade!

But things are about to get better - way better! Why will it be better? There will be several improvements to the site including a new mobile app for iPhone & iPad, visual updates and various feature enhancements.  Most importantly, however, will be the new Marketplace. On the Marketplace you will be able to list your items from your own closet in order to sell and trade with other members on the site! Have a London Fog handbag you haven’t used in months? Good! Join the fun and trade it for something new to you. Or, sell it and earn a little pocket change. We will also be launching a number of new features to enable trust between traders on a massive scale and to ensure all transactions are protected by our Happiness Guarantee. Get ready for a new, fun way to shop online!

Name of New Experience
After sifting through over a thousand survey responses and speaking to the broader fashion community, we’ve decided that the name of the new experience will be… wait for it… Pose! It’s simple, fun, and fashionable. Over the past 3 years, Pose has worked hard to build trust and a presence in the fashion community and we’re proud to be adopting their name. Though we’re sad to see the “Little Black Bag” name sunset, we’re excited for the new and vibrant Pose to rise. The name change will happen when the new experience officially launches.

The New Little Black Bag

Several months ago we announced that Little Black Bag and Pose would be merging to create an online shopping experience unlike anything else. Our team has been working hard to build this exciting new product and we’re delighted to share that the launch is happening soon. We think you’re going to love it!


First, let us assure you that maintaining the fun and excitement of shopping and trading is still the core mission of our company as this is what makes our community so special. We will never stray from the thrill of the trade!


But things are about to get better - way better! Why will it be better? There will be several improvements to the site including a new mobile app for iPhone & iPad, visual updates and various feature enhancements.  Most importantly, however, will be the new Marketplace. On the Marketplace you will be able to list your items from your own closet in order to sell and trade with other members on the site! Have a London Fog handbag you haven’t used in months? Good! Join the fun and trade it for something new to you. Or, sell it and earn a little pocket change. We will also be launching a number of new features to enable trust between traders on a massive scale and to ensure all transactions are protected by our Happiness Guarantee. Get ready for a new, fun way to shop online!


Name of New Experience

After sifting through over a thousand survey responses and speaking to the broader fashion community, we’ve decided that the name of the new experience will be… wait for it… Pose! It’s simple, fun, and fashionable. Over the past 3 years, Pose has worked hard to build trust and a presence in the fashion community and we’re proud to be adopting their name. Though we’re sad to see the “Little Black Bag” name sunset, we’re excited for the new and vibrant Pose to rise. The name change will happen when the new experience officially launches.
